Away in Florida this week with a chance to spend time with family and my inner child and tick one of the things off my bucket list
Busy week of new experiences this week, but since I'm a little behind I'll keep it short and sweet.
During the first week whilst away in Florida to celebrate my dad's birthday we went to Walt Disney World, ate at the Chef's table in a restaurant and swam with dolphins at Discovery Cove.
Magic Kingdom
Although I have admittedly been to Disney World in the past I think the experience is always different and with four different theme parks there are always new things to do. Although centred a little more around kids (obviously) there are still a lot of good rides and some fun shows - still well worth a visit!
Epcot
Whilst we were out at the Florida Mall in an attempt to avoid the dodgy mall food court we decided to go and check out one of the restaurants in the place. The one we eventually decided on was Buca di Beppo's, an Italian restaurant where they serve food family style (to share). Although we did wait a fair while to be seated, once we were eventually called we were invited to site at the Chef's table. Although it wasn't a posh restaurant or anything it was still an interesting experience, and at least we know they didn't do a Waiting on us.
Finally as mentioned above, a true activity to tick off the bucket list - swimming with dolphins. I really think this is something everyone should do once in their life as they are such amazing and interesting animals. Who doesn't love dolphins?
Now all I need to do is work out how I can arrange a bear hug without getting mauled and I'll be happy.
